How to Make a Scented Candle Out of Egg Shells and Crayons

Step 1:
Gather supplies – Crayons, washed egg shells, cotton twine, scissors, essential oils or sense oil, craft sticks, glass microwave safe cup or bowl.

Step 2:
Cut the twine to length and tie it to a craft stick.

Step 3:
Place the twine into the egg shell using the craft stick to hold in place. Set to the side.

Step 4:
Place the pieces of crayons into the cup. Microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each 30 seconds until all is melted smooth. CAUTION! The cup will be HOT! Use something like a pot holder or dry dish rag to hold the cup.

Step 5:
Add the essential oil/sense oil and mix well.

Step 6:
Very carefully pour into egg shells. Allow to cool completely.

Step 7:
Cut the craft sticks free. Light the wick (twine) and enjoy.

Note:
You can remove the egg shell and use as a floating candle.
